Is this a French button? ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1546271193.744368.webpImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1546271210.192661.webp

Found at early French site in La., does not have drilled shank, no back mark. Have found a drilled shank Ynfantria Spanish colonial button and 1812 artillery Corp buttons at this siteImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1546271453.004500.webpImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1546271470.086815.webp

The button you need is Napoleons old guard button, they were some tough S.O.B.s.

I tried cleaning up your pics to get more detail, but I wasn't able to sharpen the image. :icon_scratch:

Without knowing what's written on the front, there's no way I can help you to I.D. this piece.

All I can tell you is that it looks to be a one-piece brass pants button dating from the mid-19thc.

The top button was the one I was asking about, should not have posted the bottom button as I know what it is, it's a Spanish Lusiana Ynfantria button, I just posted it as I found it at same site, my bad. Top button has no backmark or any writing and Is probably just a plain flat button
