Fresh water detetcting

Has any one done any water detecting, were there are aligators?

I detected in an area where there were salt water crocodiles, you could be a foot away from them and not know it. I wouldnt recommend it as a regular pass time. Just make sure you have the standard dress for the job including a good pair of brown hero pants. Not worth the risk. Seeya Neilo
