OK, just so that everyone knows that my banks aren't just loaded with silver...

Half Dollars:
$500 boxes

Box 1
Skunk

Box 2
Skunk

Box 3
Skunk

Box 4
Skunk

I knew they were all skunks the second the teller put them on the counter, they all had a box code that I've come to greatly detest. Between 40-50 boxes with this code... all skunks.

Where is the box code located on Brinks halves? If there is one for that matter, all my boxes are unmarked.

I've never gotten Brinks boxes with codes, just String & Son.

I don't like the Brinks in my area either. Somehow it only gives skunk boxes. I guess some monster CRHer is dumping into my local Brinks.

Stay away from yellow String boxes that are coded #0002!! I"m on the 37th skunk within the last 3 weeks ! On other hand, Blink's halves that's code less had been treating me a bit better.

you must have got some CA string boxes by accident :-)

I'm sure this week will be better.

My brinks boxes never have codes either.

I have yet to get any box of coins with a code on them - pennies, dimes, halves, or nickels - most are Brinks and some are S & Son. Most boxes are skunky regardless.
