Went detecting Saturday with "Dig it" to an old School used by a local township as the town hall. Lady who gave Us permission said it had been detected about 10 years ago." Dig It "used My BH 3300 and I continue to learn with the GTI 2500. We also hit the local football field.
The 3300 and "Dig it" out performed Me and the 2500- He found about 4 times the coins I did, three separate
pocket dumps add up fast!! I am still learning My new Garrett and obviously need MUCH more time with it. Unfortunately the school and fields only yielded clad and some other "junk"
Pics below show My end of the finds- nothing spectacular, but hey at least I had fun!! Was very nice to see My friend operate a detector so well- claims its only His second time out!!
My Family went out detecting to another ball field and an old church on sunday. My wife tried Her hand at detecting and found some clad and I also found just clad. Lots of tabs and screwcaps at the field. The Church I had high hopes for but it had been changed to Handi-cap accessible so it had several feet of fill. Didn't want to be a gopher and disturb to much- so it was a bust!!!
