One of my hunting buddies contacted me with a invite to hunt a very old spot he just received permission to hunt. Dug a couple of toasted large cents and a couple of buttons. Then it slowed down for a while. Then out of nowhere my friend jumps up and yells silver. I headed over to him and due to the age of the spot I didn't know what to expect. He had me remove the small silver coin from the plug ,and to my amazement it had a legible date of 1797! US draped bust silver , one of the best finds I have seen recovered. I was glad to see him get such a great coin . WTG MAN!!
