I was checking a batch that had tumbled for 2 weeks at stage 1. This one stood out.

I’d call it chalcedony. Slightly translucent. The dark brown base looks great. I’m afraid that more tumbling may ruin it.

Did you find it or buy it? Looks like it will get a high gloss. Keep going! It’s just a rock until it’s polished or carved. Then it becomes an artifact and art.
 

I found it in the creek. Initially I thought it was Smokey quartz. I believe I will tumble it more when I get to step 3.
 

Very nice creek find.👍🏻 There are surely more in there. Every big rain should give you new opportunities.
