Was digging shovel test holes on my favorite historical property and saw this dirty cat looking back at me. She is missing a leg and part of her tail, but hey...she's been buried for a long long time so what do you expect lol. Made from a two piece mold it is a heavy plaster composition...i think. I recently had found a bisque Charlotte doll and a clay marble here so this was kinda expected....well not really. It is all relevant for me because this property was settled early in my Counties history, before it was even a county. The folks who lived here are almost like family because I have studied up on them all as I have compiled a rather large book on my exploits here as I have unearthed much of their lost, discarded items that we call relics.I make every effort to tie an artifact to the people who lived in the vicinity and make a somewhat valid story about it all. To know the names of the children who likely played with such things as this dirty skinny cat just makes it that more special. There I go again, getting all sentimental again....

Not really sure what it is made of. It is heavy for its size, looks a lot like porcelain glaze over a bisque:dontknow:
