Matteo La Boccia,

welcome to the board.

The link Arakronn gave is very good.

My dad, may the Good Lord bless his soul, was at
Salerno during WW II. He visited it again with my Mom
when he was in his 60's.

Again, welcome. Hope you find what your looking for.
Hope we all find what we are looking for. ;)

I can identify a lot of the relics m1 clips and empty rounds grenade tops and a spoon from one grenade machine gun shell holder clips and the fin from a mortar shell tops from cans that held the shells

The orange container is a German butter dish.

30 cal. machine gun links, Grenade fuse and spoon that attaches to the fuse, M1 clips, Long fins are to a bazooka rocket, short fins 60mm mortar, the threaded piece with chain is from a G.I. canteen, german butter dish.
