Front yard finished

I finiished detecting my front yard with my wife. we found 3Q, 3D, 3P and one wheatie. I even found a few sites I need to locate the owners for and see if I can get permission to hunt them. They are old houses no longer lived in and one of them has been burned down. I'm just not real sure how to go about owner location.

Cross reference property taxes w/addresses at courthouse or wherever you pay prop. taxes-gives last known name and address of owner. HH

I currently do not have a digital camera otherwise I would post picks. I think I have tracked down the owners. The county assessor had a website with topographical maps that pulled up names when you clicked on parcels of land. I am going to recheck my addresses today and then try and contact the individuals.

Good going. Good luck on the searches for owners. The burnt out house will no doubt have lots of trash but under that could be very good.
