We r moving to a new residence and had my detector in my car so decided run it in the front yard ,I never hunt it before and this what found a 1935 buffalo nickel

Yea found like that with a hole ,guess some made necklace out of it. It my first old coin found

That is it. It was very common back in the day. Plus if you got in a bind, you had emergency money!
