Found the lead soldier mold a couple years ago, didn't know what it was, threw it in the scrap pile. After some rain, I was finally able to figure it out!! Pretty cool. Even better, I found the soldier recently and crossed my fingers. found the mold and sweet, it was a fit. reunited after all these years. Keep Swinging!!

Thank God Almighty hes home for good.

That's cool. Nicely done

Looks like he has four brothers still out there.
That is a very unique piece.
I like it

Cool find!!! I had a similar mold when I was 9 or 10. Kids were encouraged to make their own toys back then and melting down some lead to make some toy soldiers was considered socially acceptable. So I had a rather large army of several hundred men since I was a good scavenger for scrap lead, and I also have some scars from molten metal spills, all just part of growing up then. Cheers!!

There you go muddpuppy with your scrap lead you find you can melt and make his bros.

Interesting piece!, very cool

Nice item, but this is TODAY's FINDS. Just saying. :coffee2:

That is a really nice find. Congrats.

I wish that you had both halves of the mold, I could use a set of those soldiers! GL&HH.

Very nice find!

That is awesome, congrats on the reunion. Now go find the other half of that mold and melt down some lead wheel weights for the whole squad! Sub 8-)
