Pretty fun hunt today. A new 1800's farm permission. Got a 37 D merc pretty quick. Not too long after that got a good high tone. Seen several pennies in the bottom of the plug. When I finished digging them out there were 22 wheats in that hole. I worked hard after that to beat my all time high of 29 wheats in one hunt. Today I got 30. Wooo Hooo! I also got a 41 silver quarter, and a sterling spoon end that is engraved (Coldwater) That is a town about 40 minutes from here. In the group shot I left the 22 wheats together (uncleaned) and the other 8 are above. Lots of other items too. I can't wait to go back.

looks like that was a lot of fun, gratz and thanks for posting

Great job over there. I see that the wheats are in the 40 and 50's range and just wanted to state that when you find a bunch of wheats around those years there might be a 1943 steel with them but it will just be a hunk of rust and/or you might find a couple wheats stuck together with a rusty round in the middle.
Love the silver! Congratulations and thanks for sharing.

Congratulations on the silvers & the Wheaties.
Liking that long handled spoon.

That is quite a pile of wheaties! Congrats on beating your previous total What was the date range on those pennies. Nice work on finding the two silvers too!
40's and 50's and a 1937.

Great finds! Can't wait to see what else you find there!
