This is a more of of 'what is it for'.

I've identified it as Fun Munny, it says it on both sides, just a bit smaller than a dime.

I can see them for sale on eBay and there is a TN 2009 post as well.

But no place can I find it's origin. Was it part of a game? If so, which game?

I found this in a park near Jacksonville FL.

Many thanks-

I'm thinking from an arcade - back before electronic video games. Maybe even an amusement park.

I agree with Ivan. Besides the fact that it comes in various denominations it is listed as play money on page 18 in the book "Play Money of American Children" by Richard Clothier. PLAY MONEY

Yeah, I'm not able to find which game, or specific use.

I remember as a kid having a bag of play money we used to use, but not much else about it. (it was a long time ago)

I like the page 18 shot, thanks to diggummup- they don't know about it either.

It looks like a great reference book.

Back when I was a wee lad, the amusement park had games like Skee Ball, where if you scored enough points you got paid in such. You could then use the money to buy a prize. Basically you spent so darn much on the game you could have bought a couple of said prizes elsewhere for what the park charged.

It didn't last long. Thinking a lot of those coins walked off with disappointed players. Got to costly for the park, as they changed over to paper tickets instead.
