White's Classic SLII and the E series DFX and the Minelab ExplorerII
MM was kind enough to invite me out to hunt with him at one of his favorite locations.

It was an ideal day weather wise to detect and we had a great time. ;)

yikes on some great finds .... ;D ;D ;D ;D by the looks of it you must've had a blast !! :o :o ;D ;D keep em comin.....

I can see you had a great hunt! Where are the details? A nice token, silver, what is the thing at the top? HH, Mike

MM is a really nice guy. He picked me up at 8:00 am and we headed for the dairy farm. The first thing I found was the gold colored compact near the old house.
We detected all over the place and I got the guided tour. Then after we took a break, I switched from the DFX to my old SLII. Ironically, that's when I found the silver coins and another one of those silver bracelets.

The yard at the house is infested with wheat pennies. I'll clean up the badge and the token a little later. I'm headed out to do a little more night detecting.

I haven't had this much fun detecting in a while and MM makes a great hunting partner. He's very energetic and upbeat.

A day to remember for sure! ;)

Yeah Dave, you're not getting off that easy! You kicked my butt on finds today, so I at least want to see your stuff cleaned up and posted. ;D Dave found some GREAT finds today, including a coin I've been dying to find.
Thanks again for the sandwhich & water. Next time I'll come better prepared. ::)
Now let's see the stuff cleaned and posted Mister.

P.S. Here is Mr. Ridley today with his finds. Notice the bulging pockets. :D

Ridley... Is that the millionth silver bracelet outta there between you guys!? That Junior Badge is cool, and the compact too... :) Man that property could keep a guy busy for years...

Jim,
NO silver coins for me yet. After Ridley found his 2nd silver coin, I made him go sit in the car and do a "time out". ;D He was actually very generous & offered me the Merc, but I took the sandwhich instead. I about croaked when he found another of those handmade bracelets!!! That makes three now from this site. None of them were even close to each other. Ridley's has a different pattern on his than my two.
Ridley also offered to let me use his new DFX, but you need to be a computer programmer to use that damn thing.
I'll stick with my old school, two knob, turn on and go Tesoro. ;)
By the way, the DFX is NOT the machine that found the silver. More adventure to follow............

Great adventure guys...Snowbound and envious....Joe

Glad you guys got out today and found some good stuff. Having to work on a Saturday sucks. I looked out the door all day at the pretty weather.

Mike

Nice Job Ridley!!....Congrat's on the silver.....

Man! That's quite a grab bag assortment you have there. Nice work.

Looks like you had one heck of a day. Three bracelets alike and nowhere close to one another. That is just too cool.
Congrats on some more cool finds. Good luck on your night hunt

Here's a photo of the stuff I found, cleaned up. The make up thing says "TUSSY" on the back. The token says American Trucking Associations inc.

MM, found a strange Civil War era bullet. Among other things. Hopefully someone can ID it. If he ever posts it. ;)
