Umm, i have to say, I thought this was a top to a tin of tobacco but upon further investigation..i.e. google...i found that it is the top to something completely different. Apparently it is the tin top of condoms from the 1920's-1930's. It was found near a river that is close to home. The merc is another silver find from my in-laws backyard. Seems everytime i go there i leave with a silver coin. Four visits, two silver dimes and two silver quarters. I also found these other items today but that tin top has still got me giggling.
