funny school hunt

I went to the local old high school yesterday. I started in front of the school slowly making my way. I was there for about 1hr and a half until I noticed this truck that came to a screechin' halt on the highway. This man whipped in and pulled next to my truck and jumped out and walked toward me and asked had I found anything. Well, he was a rugged character and I was afraid that I was about to be mugged so I said, not a whole lot. After talking with him a few minutes I realized that he had also detected there. He told me "I don't expect you'll find much, I've been over this place backwards and forwards". I just agreed and didn't have the heart to tell him I'd found a little over $8 in clad, a silver quarter, a mercury dime, and a couple of wheaties. wink

Funny Hunt

Congrats on the finds. Nothing like a pocket full of clad and some silver coins to make for a fun hunt. I always like to hear when folks tell me places are worked out. It tends to make me slow down even more and I am a notorious slow sweeper.
