Probably 1950's. I did a serch on GE toys or adv. items and found nothing. But there are similar items out there.

Just tidying up some blasts from the past (including some very ancient ones), largely for the benefit of anyone searching the site for information.

Cool find. Note that the ‘GE’ monogram in the centre, next to the light bulb, is the trademark for the General Electric company.

They’ve used the same monogram since 1900 so that doesn’t help much with dating but these spinners were promotional giveaways and are said to be from the post-war 1940s.
