GAR button...............

found this nice old button today in a houseyard - was down about 6 to 7 inches - the front of the button has "GAR" in large letters - the backmark states: WATERBURY SCOVILLE MFG Co - don't know if I got something real good or not!!! Anybody have any ideas? Thanks for looking & HH - Hawkeye Jim.
