Garnet and silver necklace and earings, Rubys and diamonds too?

These are lovely and I'd like to know the value of these. even though I probably would not sell these.
They are garnets and 925 silver and look to be antique.
I'm going to have the ruby and diamonds checked. I went to 1 jewelers and that had no Idea. so as soon as I find out i'll let you know

Just by the prongs and setting of the earrings looks like costume jewelry to me and I will guess the stones are not genuine and not of any great value, maybe $10. $15 at the most as they are lovely. The suite of necklace & earrings do look like amethyst cabochons mounted all in sterling silver. That to me is a very nice set and I would hope I could sell it for as much as $75.00 on ebay. Could be worth more to someone else?

Hey thanks for the info, I found out they are fire eye or pryope garnets set in 925 silver. I'm thinking I might keep these around for my daughter when shes older.
But it does kinda look like grandma jewelry so I'm not sure if she'd like them.
Heck I might sell later Idk yet.

It IS pretty stuff! When your daughter gets older this could be the "In Thing"...who knows?
