Garrett ACE 400 MOD / Volume/LCD Light/Ground Balance

I have heard there was a modification to add a ground balance for the ace 250 . does any one have any experience of this , if so will it work on the ace 400 ?? I would think it will void any warranty if it was not approved by garrett . I have not found any reference to this modification anywhere so is this just a rumour and wishful thinking , if anybody knows any thing about I would love to hear it

The only 250 mid I have seen was putting a volume dial on it.
