We were about to go metal detecting for the day in the country with our AT Pro but noticed the batteries were running low. Heaven forbid if they died while we were out, so decided to replace them before we left. Unfortunately the battery holder fell to the ground and snapped at the top end where the battery connects! Devastated!!! This piece of plastic is thin and not strong at all. Fortunately some cellotape (actually heaps of the stuff) managed to hold it together. As we are in Australia we went on ebay and discovered we can get a new one at a cost of about $8.00 but the postage was ....... $70.00!!!! Has anyone else had a problem like this
(We are now looking at a Minelab E-Track!)
