Okay the truth, I thought I ordered 8.5X11 but accidentally ordered the 10X14
I put it through a field test and here are the results.
Depth: Air test: About the same as the 8" round with various items.
Weight: I dont have the exact specs but not too bad on land, definitely more to push through the water and obviously a bit harder to home in on the target
but you can't beat coverage.
Up on the sand I never stopped digging, I was hitting target after target, clad, pop tops, normal trash but just as easy to sweep as my 8" coil but I covered twice the area in the same time... The coil is so big it double beeps most targets making smaller targets more noticeable.
Conclusion: I'll definitely keep it, but I wont get rid of my 8" coil.
