COULD SOMEONE GIVE ME ANY INFO ON THIS DETECTOR. I MAY BUY ONE OFF OF A GUY AT WORK. ALSO SOME PICS WOULD BE NICE AS I HAVE NOT SEEN IT YET. IS 225 A GOOD PRICE FOR IT. ANY INFO WOULD BE APPRECIATED. THANKS

I have one. It is old technology and uses 6 nine volt alkali batteries or 4 of the rechargeable. It eats batteries and is heavy. I don't have a pic of this dinosaur but it is green and has a meter with a needle. Came with a 7 1/2" coil that was good for about 7 inches on a quarter. Pinpointed right on the center of the coil. The price is just right for him, but you should pass it up. The Garrett Ace 250 runs about that price and is lighter and uses less batteries. Results may be about the same. I enjoyed using mine way back then and I had to hip mount it so I could hunt for a while without taking a break.
