I found a Garrett Master Hunter CX at a pawn shop, are these good ? he is asking $150.00 for it.

These are still good detectors! They pinpoint on a dime and are easy to use. Even if it is broken Garrett will still repair them as they have parts. It is a good buy and they also have coils for them if you want a Sniper coil which I highly recommend for trashy places.

I agree, I have one of the original series Grand Master Hunters and it is a very good detector. Garrett went through it for me a year ago and it works like new. Also, the Proformance series coils are available for it. GMH has become my backup detector since getting the At Pro.

if anyone find a broken one with a good meter and power panel i need to buy it...mine is the older yellow meter one. garrett doesnt fix those anymore.
