Garrett Sea HUnter Mark II - other uses

I have a SeaHUnter Mark II that I have used for underwater hunting in florida. Was just curious if anyone has ever tried it on land (besides beaches), ie... fields, yards, parks, ect... and what kind, if any, luck you had had?

I take mine out in the yard every once in a while just to see if I can remember how it works. It works fine on the sod! Monty

It would work fine, except it has very little discrimination so you could dig a lot of junk and make a mess of a parks grass. Ok for the fields though if you don't mind the extra weight a PI has.
