gast 263 rebuild

Hello this might sound funny but I am doing a rebuild on an old gast 263 and forgot to take pictures does the little flaps go in or out. When I spin The pulley by hand it makes a honking sound is that normal?

The cylanders were a little scratched up from piston hitting cylander might need a new cylander ☹

this is the PDF that has the gast PCA 10 that uses the 263 kit and lists the individual part numbers.
