Metal Detecting
I think after 25 years worth of metal detecting I may have a idea on what to carry when you hunt. For all
the newbies out there this list might help.

1. Military style belt
2. Pepper spray and pouch (had to use it one time against a mean dog )
3. Leche digging tool
4. Digital camera, takes pics and post on treasurenet!
5. Knee pads
6. Hard hat, works great in construction areas.
7. Baseball gloves
8. Pinpointer ( I like the Garrett)

Good post and pic.

As a new guy this is what I am looking for. I am going to copy some of your setup, I have a set of old Alice style suspenders for mounting a pack to that I think I will add to keep the weight on my shoulders and off my lower back.

Good post, you might want to add a towel to pile your dirt on, if you are in a park and maybe a bag to carry out the trash you dig up, and a pill bottle for your good finds :dontknow:

nice setup...love the hard hat idea...go with the green vest and you will blend perfect :icon_thumleft:
