With the repealing of prohibition in 1935, alcohol could be bottled and sold legally but had to have that embossing..... Federal law prohibits.....to try stopping the illegal practise of refilling bottles with the home made stuff for resale. There are collectors out there for these bottles, but I personally toss them all back. Post 1935 is not the era I prefer but many from this time period are highly collectable. Not really sure on yours though.
