Hello there,

Do you think these are precious gemstones? They are excavated inland placed in a sealed plastic container with marked 1 9 3 4. They are approximately 1 1/2 in x 1 in and 3/4 in diameter egg shape. The two samples are enlarged and the rest are placed in a plate.

For sure they are not synthetic.

Take them to a gemologist.Do you mean they are not plastic when you say not synthetic? Otherwise, how could you say that? :-\

They very well could be glass and have been made for decoration, since I guess they're not holed (like a bead).
What's the history on them? I mean where did you find them and the age?

Who would shape a gemstone into a jelly bean? :o

Sea glass shaped into decorative beans?

Petrified jelly beans?

O.K. now I'm hungry.

Some of the late President Regan's Jelly Bellies. They tend to turn to stone when not left in a sealed container. I am sure they are not natural, just shaped glass or stone for some reason.
;D ;D ;D ;D

I think they're probably glass.........I can't think of a gemstone that is solid white without any markings or inclusions, though of course I could be wrong ;D

Turn your computer upside down. The basket is sitting on a shelf below the calendar, looks funny though.

I can't turn my computer upside down. My own jelly beans would fall off of my computer keyboard if I did. LOL
