Geofacts from New England: Part 6. a dog-gone edged tool

One of the first finds was this edged, narrow stone with a surface anomaly resembling a baying dog or wolf. Note the graphite and red ochre stains. The lower edge of the stone is it's only level surface and it will stand upright as seen in the picture
