My dad was out detecting and found this coin, maybe its a novelty coin or not. I tried looking it up on the net but couldn't seem to find it.
Any info would be appreciated.

Oh yeah...it's a novelty!
 

I'm certainly not a coin expert, but there's something about that coin that isn't quite right. Either it's a tourist item or possibly a bad copy of a coin. :icon_scratch:

Yes, if a George III, or better yet a George II, it would have been worth some cash. I kid you not, I once seen a counterfeit with Britannia holding a certain part of the male anatomy and it sold for over a grand.
