George 111 cartwheel penny

Had a nice afternoon searching today, the weather was warm and dry. Detected for about 3 hours and found this nice Georgian copper coin, 1797 George 111 Cartwheel penny. The coin is not in bad condition and due to it's size would make a good paper weight.

That is in stunning condition...this past spring I pulled out a "2 penny" 1797 cartwheel...twice the size!

It's pasture now, but for the last few previous years it was ploughed.

Congrats, really nice find. I found one of the same a while back, but not in that good a condition. I was still thrilled to find it. I can imagine how you felt when you found yours. Really nice.
