Back at the creekside farm today, I managed this 24 Merc on my first dig, then a long dry spell. I moved to a small plot of ground between two cottages and quickly added this 41 Washington and my third Pittsburgh Railway Company token. This was an electric trolley system that ran all over Pittsburgh and into some of the suburbs. I found the token in the throes of a one flesh relationship with a wheat penny and had to pry them apart ::). I was able to enjoy a cooler morning as it was mostly overcast; we're hoping there will be some good rain this afternoon and evening.

Nice! Hope you get that rain. It rained just enough here in Columbus to make it steamy >:(

Might get more later though - hope so.

Very nice finds!

I'm still hunting for a silver quarter and my first token of any kind...

Only a matter of time I hope 8)

Great silver coins. I hope you get some rain, it has not rained here in 6 weeks.

Way to continue Half! Love the silver. It rained here in Michigan during the night last night and early this morning. Supposed to get some more later this week. Yahoo! Hope it finds its way to you.

Good deal. Nice to come home with 3 good keepers. You find much clad at the site?

Generally more wheats than clad; I can always count on some silver (so far). The place is still active, so there will be clad, but it has been active for so long (and so carelessly!) that it keeps giving up older coins. So far, only an 04 Barber dime and 14 Barber quarter, so I haven't broken 1900 there, and only one Indian (07). If memory serves, I've found three 09 wheats here.
