Georgia Arms Company loses contract to reload brass shells?

Struck me odd, today. I overheard a conversation that a company with the name of "Georgia Arms" had been buying empty brass casings from the Military to reload and sell. Then, the contract/agreement to get the brass shells was ended.

Now it's said that those brass shells are now shredded and sold to China as scrap metal. Have you heard anything about this? What's brass bringing around your area?
