I went back to the field where Todd just dug the 3 plates and found a couple of nice relics as well. Two large Georgia buttons in great condition!! I just lightly brushed them to post but I'll try to clean them better later when I can take me time.

The reason we went to that field in the first place is because a battle map showed a Confederate Artillery position. I guess now we'll see if the research can put Georgia Artillery on that ridge.

Holy Moly... What I would give to have one of those beauties.. After you clean them up post an updated picture and we'll get them on the banner as well :o :o :thumbsup:

Way to go Rocky! Those are two really pretty buttons :thumbsup: And to think the owner said it had been pounded to death but yet we both found some great relics. Maybe we should go back one more time :laughing7:

Way to go Rocky! Gereat finds! I know there is a trash pit in the cedars as well. Right when Todd was digging his plates I found some rashen can pieces. We need to keep on that place for sure!
