German Grandfather Clock (circa 1890)

Inherited this clock from my parents who purchased in Düsseldorf, Germany at an Estate Sale in 1965.
They thought it may have been 70-80 years old at that time.

There is some printing / markings on the back of the clock face but difficult to read:

MIT
GERMANY

If "MIT" is the name of the city/town where the clock was made, that might limit the search down to:
1. Mittenwald(e),
2. Mittweida; or
3. Mitterteich
Can you post a pic of the reverse image where "MIT" is shown?

Love a clean stately GF clock - can't help with mechanics but patina looks proper for the estimated age, beveled glass, nice carvings and accents.

Hey dude i just saw the combination of letters and Numbers the The First List the clockwork (the raw Producer and the Finishing Producer) H W means Hans Winterhalter thats the Company who Build the clock now its „Junghans“ ! MIT couldnt be mittweida because thats a City in East germany H W lives in Neustadt (Neustadt - Mittweida = 5 1/2 Hour via car
