Germany New Year's Adventure

Hi folks,

It's been another year since my last serious adventure. I had the pleasure of taking my old metal detector out of the shed on New Year's Day to take a chance on the old fields of yesteryear. The land I searched on has its roots deeply tucked in Celtic-Roman times. The day was windy, some downpours, but it was worth the walk. Some interesting finds, although probably not as old as I had hoped. The I do hope you enjoy the photos though.

Thanks for the interesting pictures of the countryside and the finds. I'd try to get out more than once year if I were there, I think. My ancestors originated in Germany, so that adds to my interest in your photos.
