if you go to 8th ave and teller st in denver you will see theya re working on the canal. They have a large pump set up to divert the water while they work the banks of the canal upstream.
They said its ok if any of you want to come pan there just make sure its ok with the home owners. Woudl be nice if you cut them in if you found anything but up to you.
I locate utilities and so i know when they are digging around the city and in the mountains. Thats how I found out.
