No three pellets in each quarter were used in pennies, half pennies, farthings, groats and half groats. What the three pellets signify I dont know.

That hammered penny is in much better shape than the 2003 zinc penny I dug last saturday!!!!!

Great finds Rob :thumbsup: I understand the rolls of lead sometimes had curses written on them, so be carefull if you unroll it :D :D

I hate living in Kansas. All we have are fossils and arrowheads.

I like old round metal stuff better.

Yes your correct I un-rolled one once, and got lead poisoning. :wink:
