Does anyone else see the shade of a former pet? out of thr corner of my eye there is one in my house. Also I feel him jump on the bed, look no cat seen, hear purring sometimes.???? Bob

I have heard of this with animals before. I have heard horses gallopping and snorting when there were none around anywhere so I believe in animals that have passed on leaving some kind of mark too.

Yes I have. My cat Sandy has been gone since August 2010, we had to put her down, she got very old. A few days after we did so, things would happen in our laundry room where she always stayed....We had several things fall of the shelf while we were in the living room.....:D

Since I last posted, two more of my cats have passed on, one with a big cancerous toumer. I hear and feel them jump onto the bed,as well as purring at night. they were all my buddies . Bob

That is awesome Bob ! :) You're not so lonesome anymore hehe

I have often felt the sensation of a cat walking on my bed only to find out none of my cats were in the room. I once opened the kitchen pantry and got a glimpse of a cats tail as it ran further into the pantry which of course was a dead end (no pun intended) I jumped back and then looked inside all over and there was no cat inside. I don't know what any of it means but I do know I sure hate it when one of my cats sits and stares at the ceiling at nothing, but I can tell he sees something. I just hate that!

There have been so many cats in my life. I am hard put to figure ,who just curled up by my feet. can feel the weight ,but there is no one there. Captain Midnight who always slept on my outside foot corner, is sometimes there. Bob

This poem by Jimmy Stewart, about his dog Beau, reminds me of that LB. Listen to the end and you'll see what I mean.
