Got to spend a day looking around the Vanderbilt and Barnwell ghost towns and old mines south of Las Vegas a couple days ago
Very remote.
What always gets me wondering is there was so much gold pulled out of these places.
Walking around the old mines it's like there has got to be plenty more it just hasn't been found yet.
But there is no activity at all.
Maybe the occasional prospector but overall nothing.
Dangit I know there's gold out there lol.
