THIS POINT WAS GIVEN TO ME ALONG TIME AGO . CAN ANYBODY HELP WITH ID THE ONLY THING I KNOW ABOUT IT IS MY FREIND TREASURED IT AND TOLD ME NEVER TO SELL IT
Looks like a Buck Creek variation, their barbs are stronger but the needle tip and high grade flaking are characteristic of this type, especially if found in the Kentucky and surrounding states. Middle to late Archaic period.
Exceptional point, a great gift. Keep it.
