It was very dirty also. I cleaned it with wet Q-tips carefully around the paper. For the inside, I cut a couple Q-tips into pieces and added soap and water. Shake it up till clean.

That is so cool when they're found with the paper label still intact. They are so rare. I have two, and, just like you, I found them in an attic.
