Very Nice!! Well done to the boys. :)
What are the "ferns" in that quartz? Can any one tell me? I get a lot of that in quartz I come across here in the Coromandel of New Zealand? I always thought it to be some kind of sulphide or silver mineralisation.

Thanks

Happy golding

JW  :coffee2:

That's some beautiful gold! :icon_thumright:

I reckon he has been sneaking over to our spot in NZ JW.... lol Good finds, and by the look of it there is going to be plenty more there.

The Cat

G'day Wildcat, Yes it does look very similar to those specimen pieces of yours from Poolburn. This is a lot off topic but talking of Poolburn, my wife videos weddings for a living & one she did a few weeks ago up near here in Tauranga, The groom & a whole bunch of people were up from Poolburn. The groom was born & raised there & I am sure you would no some of the names. Sorry about that to very one else. I know it was off topic of gold.
I am off tomorrow for a play with my little back packable 3" dredge.

Happy hunting

JW
