Hey all. I just started detecting again last month after a 7year hiatus. I also recently went through my junk coins because I just purchased some new Whitman folders and wanted to see how many slots I could fill. Imagine my surprise to find this 1877 INDIAN HEAD CENT that I dug in college! Made my evening. It's been following me around for 8 years or more in my junker box, lol. I'm STOKED!

I know it's rough, but I'm thinking of sending it off to be graded/encapsulated. I don't want to damage it further by trying to pop it into my folder slot.

Thanks for looking and sharing the excitement with me.

Nice find! I'd pay to have that one conserved before slabbing.

Ka-Ching! Congrats

I typically consult my coin book before storing any older coins away just because of this. Now if I could only start looking them up before I clean them...

Now that is a great story! Please re post when encapsulated and graded
