This will be my 3rd time out prospecting and first time to Mineral Bar. I have only panned in the water before ( Bear River ). It sounds like at the mineral bar it is best to be prospecting cracks and crevices above water line. Anyone going to be there on Saturday Oct 5th that if I ran into might be willing to give a little advice and point me in the right direction. I have a 7 yo son that I have taken to the Bear River but this time I am going solo to scout it out for future trips. Thanks Steve
