Howdy all,
Had the day off today and guess what I did? I swung my bumpstick. I started out following up a tip from Mapo on a Victorian home across town. It turned out to be a bust with only deep clad to show. But since ya never know till ya try it was still a good hunt. After that I did a few chores around the house. Like installing the new Kenwood 400 disc DVD changer in the man cave.
Toward the evening I headed to an elementary I had not hit yet. The field is super small but had enough targets to keep me busy. First target was a pink zipper pull and I wondered if Tank had lost the one off of his leathers. lol
Sorry couldn't help myself. Anyway I managed a nice 10k Black hills ring as my first keeper. I thought it was a fake at first because the band was broken and overlapping. Kinda like a kids toy ring would. After closer inspection I notice it was just bent and then saw the markings. Just to settle my mind I tested it when I got home and its strong at 10k. Second and last keeper was a .925 ring that added nicely to the pile. Both are small but I didn't expect anything huge at an elementary school. Thanks for looking and luck in the hunt.
