All of those are Tombacs.The small button pictured at the bottom here is the flip side. Found these other white metal buttons in the general area plus several tombac large and small. The large one backside up is in mint condition.

Yeap, not trying to be difficult, just factual.Correct. I get confused with brass, copper, copper alloy, and pewter metals as I am seeing variation in compositions. Pewter is more malleable. With tombac, the zinc gives it the lighter coloring. thanks.
The one in the center and the one at 11:00 o'clock look like they could be silver plated brass, which are often found along with Tombacs on 1790s sites in the states. Would have to see pictures of the backs.All of those are Tombacs.
