I went to a community garage sale this morning and came home with lots of silver and some gold too!

The picture with 9 rings are all sterling silver and were bought for $4 each. I payed about melt for them, but am still very pleased with them. The picture with 4 rings and the necklace are stamped 10K and 14K and were also bought for $4 a piece. Altogether, the gold weights about 8-9 grams, so for $20, that was a great score!

The others were from another sale and were bought for $1 each. 2 of them are marked 925, the black one and the blue ones are unmarked, so I don't know much about those. The seller said the black one was costume jewellery, but I figured for a dollar, why not? The outside reads "NY T & CO 1837" and the inside says:

Tiffany & co
©2005 925

Some research online found it is black titanium and sterling silver. What concerns me is the markings almost look printed on instead of the usual stamped. I hope it isn't the usual "if it's too good to be true, it usually is" as it would be quite valuable if it is authentic. Any opinions would be appreciated, as I'm stumped on this one.

GL and HH!

Your Tiffany Ring should look like this BT Tiffany.webp
i am not aware of T&C dating any pieces. Still a nice chunk of silver!

Keep at it....you seem to be coming out ahead. Nice buys.

Here's a more clear picture of the inside markings. Something doesn't seem right about it, as all of the one's online have the large lettering stamped in like the one trdking posted. I've seen some similar with a date of 1997 stamped inside, but none with 2005. Other than the markings, everything else seems right.

Very nice jewelry finds! :occasion14:

Looks like a nice haul to me.

Nice buy! Everything around here is triple-priced.

Corgidoom,

Suggest you send along some pictures to Tiffany's and ask for their opinion. They obviously have records of all the items they're produced and if that style was put out in 2005 with that type of stamp they should be aware of it.

All of them were great buys. even the Tiffaney and Co. if only for a dollar it was worth the chance. Great scores

They do have a contact to look at their archives, but there is a fee to look into them. I was thinking of sending the pictures to their possible counterfeit contact, but I finally found a match online on a reputable second hand jewellery site in Portuguese here:

Now I know this marking was made by Tiffany and Co, so I think it actually is authentic! Thank you everyone for their comments and help!

corgidoom,

Well looks like you've got a perfect match. Well done.

Really nice jewelry haul, congrats
