Gold Dust Prospecting

After the death of my uncle who lived in Guyana South America. I have a few claims that I have inherited. These claims produces gold grain ( dust) and nuggets, which is usually found between black sand and clay. The terrain in very rugged and have 8 rainy season per year. Also the dept they have found gold has been from 10ft. - 50ft.
I am looking to find a metal detector that can help in prospecting and eventually extract. I have done some research and have found a few that MIGHT fit my need. ( LORENZ DEEPMAX, OKM Series & MAG 505 ) Any feed back will be helpful. And can you point me in the right direction.
